In 2020 the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) added organizational responsibility to its health literacy mandates. These new mandates are evaluated by “the degree to which an organization equitably enables employees to find, understand, and use information and services to inform health-related decisions and actions for themselves and others.” The Healthcare Navigation Project can help you with this.

Low health literacy is linked to:

  • Increased emergency room visits.

  • Increased hospital stays.

  • Less likely to follow treatments.

  • Higher mortality rates.

Organizations can offer our programs as:

  • Corporate health and wellness trainings.

  • Add-Ons for employee benefits packages.

  • Incentives for recruitment and retention.

  • Lunch and Learn sessions.

  • Train the Trainer.

Our nonprofit offers five mix and match modules that are customized to the participants…never one size fits all.
