Health literacy is a critical skill that people need to know. We all want to take care of ourselves, but we need to understand how to utilize the complex healthcare system and understand information about our care.

Our programs help provide better healthcare to EVERYONE.

Whether you are…

  • A teenager too old for the pediatrician office but don’t know where to go for healthcare;

  • Your child has a newly diagnosed chronic illness and all the healthcare,  educational and family issues surrounding it are overwhelming;

  • You are overwhelmed by mental health issues, or abusive situations, and are not sure how to move forward;

  • You or your physician are having so much trouble getting approval for a medication that saved your child’s or your life and don’t know how to make this happen;

  • You are becoming a parent to your first newborn child; or pretty much anything else on your mind related to healthcare or education.

BUT HEALTHCARE LITERACY ISN’T JUST FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Since we are one of the first immersive health literacy programs, many ADULTS especially those just entering the workforce have never learning these skills.

In 2020 the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) came out with a new definition of what healthy people and literacy should look like by 2030. Only two important words were added (In our opinion): Organizations as of 2020 are now required to help their employees understand how to actually use their healthcare.

IF YOU WORK FOR A CORPORATION OR RUN A BUSINESS, this program can be integrated into:

  • corporate health and wellness trainings

  • an add-on for benefits

  • used for recruitment and retention, as we can offer a completion certificate.

Our universal health and wellness program can be used to as a recruiting and retention tool or to satisfy health literacy, equity and inclusion mandates and rebates under Healthy People 2030, and the new definition of Health Literacy along with Social Determinants of Health.

Our programs are offered to schools and non-profits on a sliding rate scale. Our hope is to fund our program to our underserved communities with corporate sponsorships and in return we will give all their employees the skills they will need to navigate the future of healthcare... how to actually USE their healthcare and understand well enough to make "well informed decisions for themselves and others".
